The Bettis Companies, many of which were founded by Harry M. Bettis, have been an integral part of Graham, Texas since the 1930s. Harry Bettis' journey began in 1955 when he made Graham, Texas his home after serving as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force and graduating from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY.
H. M. Bettis, Inc. started in 1974, showcasing a diverse portfolio from oil and gas investments to commodity trading. Turnco, Inc., rooted in the 1930s, holds a significant place in the oil industry. H.M.J. Minerals, Inc., founded in 1982, transitioned from focusing on mineral interests to broader ventures. Lancer Minerals, operational since 1968, and managed by Dwight Boyle, emphasizes owning and managing a myriad of mineral interests. Bettis, Boyle & Stovall, Inc. has a rich history in the oil industry, born from a joint venture. And the asset consolidation and management are spearheaded by HMB Family Partnership, LP & Bettis Operating, LLC.
Separately, The Jean and Harry Bettis Educational Foundation stands as a beacon, providing vital educational grants to the youth of Graham.
